Leslie M. Petty, Ed.D., serves as the Dean of the School of Academic Advancement at Madison Area Technical College since January 2022, overseeing academic and administrative programs, strategic planning, program development, and fiscal management. Previously, Leslie held the position of Assistant Dean for Evening, Executive, and Professional MBA Programs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2013 to January 2022, managing a substantial budget and multiple departments. Leslie also served as Interim Assistant Dean for the BBA Program, leading through organizational changes, and as Dean of the School for Continuing and Professional Studies at Saint Xavier University from 2004 to 2013. Leslie's educational journey includes a Doctor of Education in Innovation and Leadership from Wilmington University and a Master of Education in Leadership and Administration from Temple University.
