Alex Smits is an incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Macquarie Group since September 2023 and serves as a Research Assistant at Harvard Business School, collaborating with The Impact Finance Research Consortium on impact investing research. As a Board Member and Director of Harvard Undergraduate Women In Business since January 2021, Alex has also worked as a Research Partner at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute, focusing on law and economics. Prior experience includes roles as an Analyst at the Behavioral Strategy Group, Client Services at SocietyOne, Sales Consultant at Fitness First Australia, and Sports Coach at Queenwood School. Alex is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Harvard University, expected to graduate in 2025, and holds an International Baccalaureate diploma from Queenwood School.
