Christopher Deane currently serves as the Design System Lead at Macquarie Group, having joined in July 2022. In this role, Christopher focuses on scaling design and engineering within the Banking and Financial Services division and co-created the OneUI Design System (BFS). Previous positions include Design Lead for Digital Banking Experience at Macquarie Group, Design System Lead at Virtually Human, and Principal Designer at Symplicit. Christopher has also held significant roles related to design systems at Trust Bank Singapore, Sonder, and earlier at Macquarie Group, as well as serving as Creative Director at Rage Communications and Mobiddiction. The career highlights include contributions to product design, animation, and the development of design systems across multiple organizations including Commonwealth Bank and Luminary.
