Janlyn Reed has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Janlyn has held various roles focused on sales, management, and marketing. At Macmillan Learning, they served as an Executive Director overseeing sales specialists and customer success. Previously, they were the Director of Sales for Specialist Teams and a STEM Specialist Manager. At McGraw-Hill Higher Education, they worked as a District Manager and Digital Learning Consultant. Janlyn also has experience at Cengage Learning as an Implementation & Training Specialist, Digital Solutions Manager, and Senior Sales Representative. Additionally, they have worked at Levolor Kirsch Window Fashions, Simon Property Group, Docucorp International, Irwin Industrial Tools, and Newell Rubbermaid in various sales and marketing roles.

Janlyn Reed completed their education at The University of Texas at Austin from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus in Marketing. In addition, they obtained a certification in DEI Foundations - Unconscious Bias from Macmillan Learning in November 2022.
