Saurabh Rai is an experienced project manager currently working at Macmahon since June 2021, focusing on the Boston Shaker project at the Tropicana Gold Mine. Previously, Saurabh held various positions at Barminco from November 2011 to June 2021, including Mine Foreman, Mining Engineer, Shift Supervisor, Planning Engineer, and Project Engineer, primarily at the Nova Nickel Mine. Additional experience includes roles as Project Engineer at Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL), Production/Drill and blast Engineer at Sunrise Dam Gold Mine, and Mining Engineer at both Sunrise Dam and Spotted Quoll Nickel Mines. Saurabh holds a Master's degree in Management from AGSM @ UNSW Business School (2023-2025), a Master of Engineering in Mining Engineering from Curtin University (2010-2011), a Graduate Diploma in Mining Engineering (2009-2010), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University (2005-2009).
