Malcolm Cowcill is an experienced professional in the mining and construction industry, currently serving as the Manager of Tendering and Technical Support at Macmahon since September 2021, and previously as the Project Manager for the King of the Hills project. At NRW Civil & Mining, Malcolm was the Manager of Technical and Estimating, providing operational support for BGC WA mining projects. During a tenure at BGC Contracting, Malcolm held the position of GM Estimating and Engineering, overseeing estimating hubs in Perth and Brisbane, and was a Project Manager for the South Middleback Ranges project. Earlier experience includes roles as Mining Estimator and Project Manager at Mt Magnet Gold Operations and Mt Magnet Gold NL, along with serving as Chief Surveyor/Mine Surveyor at WMC Resources. Educational qualifications include diplomas in frontline management, metalliferous mining, mining and mineral technology (surveying) from Curtin University, as well as a Quarry Manager Certificate and Authorised Mine Surveyor credential from the Department of Mines.
