Ryan Hoekstra is an experienced healthcare professional specializing in mental health services. Currently serving as the Patient Care Manager for the Outpatient Mental Health Program at Mackenzie Health since February 2020, Ryan has also held the role of Interim Patient Care Manager. Prior to this, Ryan worked as a Patient Care Coordinator at Mackenzie Health and as a Community Mental Health Nurse at St. Michael's Hospital, where responsibilities included recovery-oriented case management for clients with complex needs. Earlier in Ryan's career, work as a Personal Trainer with the City of Toronto focused on promoting healthy living and helping individuals achieve personal goals. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor of Physical Education and Health from the same institution.
