Kamal Hassan is an accomplished venture capital leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in founding and leading organizations focused on innovation and corporate venturing. Currently serving as Board Member-in-Residence at Mach49 since August 2021, Kamal previously held the position of General Partner at TURN8 since April 2013, where significant contributions were made in managing a vast network of startups and corporate partners. Kamal founded and led Innovation 360 from August 2008 to November 2020 and The Cribb from February 2013 to December 2018, fostering entrepreneurship and regional innovation. Additional roles include President of the Dubai Chapter of Keiretsu Forum and General Partner at Fenox Venture Capital. Kamal has a strong academic background with a Master of Science in Biology from San Francisco State University, complemented by various prestigious business training programs.
