John Thayer is an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator with a career spanning over two decades in the mortgage industry. Since August 2010, John has been with MAC5 Mortgage Inc, focusing on originating and closing various loan types, including conventional, FHA, and VA purchases and refinances. Prior roles include positions at Uptown Mortgage, Assurity Financial Services, and DHI/Melody Mortgage, where John coordinated financing for new builds and managed a diverse array of loans. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
