Pieter Kubben is a highly experienced neurosurgeon and academic currently holding positions at azM / Maastricht UMC+ since January 2003 as both a neurosurgeon and eHealth medical programme manager, alongside serving as an associate professor at Universiteit Maastricht since January 2019, focusing on applied research in neurotechnology. Pieter founded NeuroMind in April 2020, assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer, and also leads creative efforts at NeurExplain since January 2021. Additionally, Pieter has been an associate editor in chief and information technology editor for Surgical Neurology International since September 2009, and previously contributed to the medical team at Circuit Zolder from 2011 to 2019. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Intraoperative MRI for glioblastoma surgery and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, both obtained from Maastricht University.
