Julie Kamau is a seasoned Gender & Research Analyst currently working with the United Nations Capital Development Fund since September 2021. Prior to this role, Julie served as a Project Development Advisor at Stichting Een Helpende Hand, where expert advice was provided on quality education and water and sanitation projects in Sierra Leone. Julie has also interned as a Gender Inclusive Finance Officer at FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, contributing to gender equality initiatives. Early experience includes serving as a Financial Administrator for AIESEC at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, focusing on financial transparency and accountability. Julie holds an MSc in Economics and Governance from Leiden University, a BSc in Global Management of Social Issues from Tilburg University, a Bachelor's of Commerce in Finance from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, and a Certified Public Accountant qualification from Strathmore University.
