Che Louw is an experienced lead technician currently working at Maaden Aluminium Company since March 2018, where responsibilities include supervising a mobile workshop team, motivating staff, conducting fault finding on heavy repairs, managing permit issues, and providing training. Prior to this role, Che served as an O4R champion at Rio Tinto from August 2011 to April 2018, focusing on merging operations and maintenance teams to enhance equipment performance. Additional experience includes positions as a technical advisor at Renault South Africa from August 2007 to August 2010, an auto electrician at Ford Motor Company from August 2000 to July 2007, and an apprentice at Gavins Auto Electrical in January 1996.
