Deniss Zenkovs has a strong background in analytics and data engineering. Deniss is currently working as the Head of Analytics at M-KOPA since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Engineering Manager at Meta from June 2021 to April 2023. Deniss also has experience as a Predictive Business Intelligence Expert at Allianz from September 2020 to June 2021. In addition, Deniss has held the position of Head of Advanced Analytics at Equity Bank Limited from May 2018 to February 2020, where they led a data analytics practice for a banking group operating in six Eastern African countries. Deniss has also served as the Lead Data Scientist at If Insurance from April 2016 to May 2018, providing technical leadership to a Customer Analytics team and developing predictive machine learning models for various business processes. Prior to that, Deniss worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at 3Ro from June 2008 to April 2016, where they collaborated with business stakeholders and designed centralized data warehouses. Deniss began their career as a Business Intelligence Developer at Data Pro Grupa from February 2007 to June 2008, where they designed and developed data warehouses and led a team of software developers on an insurance pricing calculator project.

Deniss Zenkovs obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from the Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) between the years 2004 and 2011.
