Before joining Microsoft, Markus worked at Nokia in various roles. Markus was an Operator & Markets Requirement Manager as well as a Senior Manager in In-Markets Portfolio Management. Markus also worked as a Principal Product Manager for Symbian Belle SW release.
Markus began their career at Nokia Oyj as the Head of Consumer Experience Projects. In this role, they led projects related to consumer experience and usability for a Nokia smartphone product family.
Markus Ritala pursued their education in Information Technology from 1997 to 2003 at the Tampere University of Technology. Markus obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in this field during their time at the university.
