Joshua Castagno is a highly experienced data engineer with a solid background in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Staff Data Engineer at Lyra Health since June 2021, Joshua specializes in building data pipelines using Python, Apache Airflow, and cloud technologies such as AWS. Prior to this role, Joshua directed engineering teams at Springbuk® and contributed significantly to the platform's data infrastructure. Previous positions include Senior Software Engineer at Blackboard, Lead Systems Engineer at Regenstrief Institute, and roles at Quad/Graphics, Worldcolor, and NEXVU Technologies. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Eastern Illinois University.
