Mary Kirby has served in various educational roles at Lynbrook Public Schools since September 1996, including Internship Coordinator, Lynbrook Teacher Center Director, English Department Chairperson, Summer Program Director, and Teacher of English. The focus of the Internship Coordinator role is to enhance student understanding as they transition into the workforce and higher education. As the Director of the Lynbrook Teacher Center, Mary Kirby promotes professional development and collaboration among educators. Academic qualifications include a BA in English Education from CUNY Queens College, a Master’s Degree in Technology Education and Media from LIU Post, and a Master’s Degree in School District Administration from LIU Post.
