J. Brandon Dixon

J. Brandon Dixon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple institutions and roles. J. Brandon began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University in 2002, where they worked until 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Research Scientist at EPFL. In 2009, they joined the Georgia Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor in the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, the Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience, and the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering. J. Brandon was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015 and became a Professor in 2020. Additionally, they co-founded LymphaTech Inc. in 2014. Currently, they serve as the Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

J. Brandon Dixon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University between 1998 and 2001. J. Brandon then continued their education at Texas A&M University, obtaining a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from 2002 to 2006.
