Dr. del Cardayre is currently active with several leading synthetic biology and specialty chemical companies. Most recently, Dr. del Cardayre Vice President of Life Science Research and Development of Renewable Energy Group and LS9, Inc. Prior to that, Dr. del Cardayre was head of Microbiology at Codexis and Scientist at Maxygen. Dr. del Cardayre received his bachelor's from the University of California, Berkeley, and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in Biochemistry.
