Yuval Cohen Flax has a strong background in design and development, particularly in the medical and human engineering fields. From 1998 to 2007, they worked as a Lecturer of Industrial Design at Leading Israeli Schools of Industrial Design. Following that, from 2007 to 2011, they served as CEO of Shootaf Industrial Design Studio, where they led a team in the design and development of innovative products.
