Ian Moskal is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy and storage sectors, currently serving as the Director of Development at Lydian Energy since October 2024. Previously, Moskal worked at Talen Energy as the Renewables and Storage Portfolio Manager, where responsibilities included leading the development of renewable energy and storage initiatives. Prior to Talen Energy, Moskal held various positions at Fengate Asset Management and NRG Energy, with key contributions to energy storage projects and development engineering. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a Master's degree in Energy Economics and Engineering from Cornell University. Additionally, experience includes a significant project with the U.S. Department of Energy focused on interdisciplinary research in subsurface detection techniques.
