Vasu P. is a materials science specialist with extensive experience in research and development across various organizations. Currently serving as a Junior Research & Technology Associate at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, Vasu focuses on tribo-corrosion coatings utilizing atomic layer deposition (ALD) processes. Previous roles include Research Development Process Engineer at Bühler Group and Doctoral Researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, where development of smartblack nanocomposite coatings was undertaken. Vasu's foundational experience includes positions as a procurement analyst at Vodafone, research assistant at Tyndall National Institute, and internships at imec and Holst Centre. Vasu holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Luxembourg, along with a Master's degree from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a Bachelor's degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
