Ion Turcanu currently serves as Group Lead and Research and Technology Associate at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ion Turcanu was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) from September 2017 to September 2021. Educationally, Ion Turcanu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information and Communication Technologies from Sapienza Università di Roma, completed in 2018, along with a Master's degree in Ingegneria informatica and a Bachelor's degree in Ingegneria informatica, both from the same institution, earned in 2014 and 2011, respectively. Additional educational experiences include participation in several international summer schools related to intelligent cars and vehicular networks at esteemed institutions such as BMW, Technische Universität München, and Paderborn University.
