Kate Abney serves as the Homes Editor for the Southeast at Luxe Interiors + Design, bringing a wealth of editorial experience from various roles in the industry. This includes freelance work as a writer, editor, and photo stylist, as well as serving as Market Assistant at Atlanta Magazine. Kate has also held the position of Field Editor at Insight magazine and worked as Decorating Editor for Southern Living magazine's Christmas at Home. A graduate of the College of Charleston, Kate earned a BA in Communication with a concentration in Media Studies, a minor in English, and pursued advanced studies in studio art. Prior educational background includes attending Wade Hampton High School.
