Inês Mourão currently serves as the Coordinator of the Climate Action Programme at LuxDev, contributing to climate initiatives in Cabo Verde since March 2022. As a Partner at CAOS - Borboletas e Sustentabilidade, Lda since October 2010, Inês has championed efforts for sustainable development and climate change mitigation. Previous roles include Team Lead at the Regional Directorate for Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change of Madeira, and the World Bank Group, overseeing greenhouse gas inventories and Nationally Determined Contribution implementation plans for Mozambique. Inês has held consultancy positions with UNDP, the European Commission, and others, focusing on adaptation planning and climate change integration. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and advanced training from the United Nations and GIZ.
