Leonora Sperling is currently conducting reverse translational research at Lundbeck, focusing on fluid biomarkers in animal models of multiple sclerosis to support drug discovery. Previously served as a student assistant at Sunstone Life Science Ventures and held various roles at Synapse - Life Science Connect, including board member and team lead. Additionally, gained research experience as a laboratory assistant in the Department of Neuroscience at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, and as a research assistant studying astrocytic calcium dynamics. Leonora also interned at Massachusetts General Hospital, where work involved implementing MRI segmentation protocols for studying depression. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Molecular Biomedicine and a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biomedicine from the University of Copenhagen, as well as graduating from Wellesley High School.
