Viktor Öwall is professor of integrated electronics systems and has been rector of Lund University, LTH, at Lund University 2015-20. Prior to that, he was head of department, deputy head of department and director of studies at the Department of Electrical and Information Technology, EIT. Viktor Öwall did a postdoc at the University of California, Los Angeles, and has led VINNOVA's Industrial Excellence Center SoS - System Design on Silicon.
He has been active in the strategic research area ELLIIT - Excellence Center at Linköping-Lund in Information Technology, and is a member of its steering group and sits on the board of WASP - The Wallenberg Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Systems and Software Program.
