Egon P. Durban is co-CEO of Silver Lake, which he joined in 1999 as a founding principal. He is based in the firm’s Menlo Park office and previously served in the New York office as well as the London office, which he launched and managed from 2005 to 2010. He serves on the public company board of directors of Dell Technologies, Endeavor Group Holdings, Qualtrics International Inc., Twitter, Inc., Unity Software, Inc., and VMware, Inc. He also serves on the board of directors of City Football Group, Group 42, Verily, and Waymo LLC. Previously, he served on the board of Skype and was the chairman of its operating committee, and served on the boards of Intelsat, Pivotal Software, Inc., and SecureWorks Corp.
Prior to Silver Lake, Durban worked in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgetown University.
