James Read is an accomplished researcher with a focus on advancing non-volatile memory technologies to enhance deep neural networks. Currently serving as a Research Scholar in the SRC Research Scholars Program since January 2023, James investigates RRAM and FeFET applications. Concurrently, a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology since August 2021, and a Research Mentor at Lumiere Education since May 2023, James guides high school students in conducting significant research projects. Additionally, James is set to intern at Rain AI in mid-2024, where the role involves developing a design-space exploration framework for DCIM accelerators. James's academic background includes a high-level education at Georgia Institute of Technology, where a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering is being pursued, alongside a Master’s degree in the same field, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
