Stephen Bennett has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Stephen is currently working at Lumentum as the Director of Product Line Management, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, Stephen worked at JDSU for 11 years, where they held roles such as Senior Product Line Manager, Product Marketing Manager, and Business Development Manager. Before JDSU, they worked at DiCon Fiberoptics as a Senior Field Technical Consultant, at E-Tek Dynamics as a Senior FAE, and at Agilent Technologies as a Senior Design Engineer. Stephen's career began at University College London, where they worked as a Research Fellow.

Stephen Bennett earned a Ph.D. in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from the University of Leeds, where they also obtained a B. Eng. (Hons.) in the same field. Stephen completed their secondary education at Rossall School.
