Daniel Haughton, Ph.D., serves as the T&D Planning Director at LUMA Energy, overseeing Transmission and Distribution planning efforts in Puerto Rico. Previously, Haughton held positions including T&D Planning Director at Quanta Services, Inc., and several director and managerial roles at Arizona Public Service, where responsibilities included engineering support, renewable integration, and customer/grid solutions. Haughton has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Arizona State University and gained experience through various internships at notable organizations such as Intel Corporation and the California Independent System Operator. Haughton holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, along with a Master's degree in the same field and a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida.
