Shayla Oulette Stonechild is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in media, community engagement, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a global ambassador for lululemon since May 2022, Shayla also founded the Matriarch Movement in January 2021, aimed at empowering Indigenous women. Shayla co-hosted a special segment for National Truth and Reconciliation Day on ET Canada from September 2021 to September 2022. Prior experience includes hosting "Red Earth Uncovered" on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network from September 2017 to September 2020 and working as a youth facilitator for the Sunworks Arts & Cultural Society from 2013 to January 2017. In terms of education, Shayla studied at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts from 2012 to 2013 and is currently enrolled at the Vancouver School of Healing Arts.
