Eivind Trondsen is an experienced aviation professional and technology entrepreneur with a diverse background. Currently serving as Leder at LUFTTRANSPORT FLYGERFORENING since October 2024 and as a First Officer flying the Dornier 228 at Lufttransport AS since October 2007, Eivind also holds the role of Deputy Head of Training, Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor, and Type Rating Instructor within the company's Approved Training Organisation. Previous leadership experience includes serving as Chief Executive Officer of Where2O AS, focusing on next-generation environmental monitoring technology, and founding Svalbard Science Destination AS to integrate scientific activities with tourism. Eivind also worked as an Operations Engineer at Kongsberg Satellite Services, ensuring satellite data operations, and held various roles in software and consulting throughout the early 2000s. Eivind holds degrees in Informatics from the University of Oslo and multiple aviation qualifications including ATPL-A and Flight Instructor certifications.
