Xiaoyan Li is a Machine Learning Researcher and Software Developer at Lucy Labs since January 2022, where skills in quantitative trading algorithms and programming are applied to develop trading systems. Concurrently, Xiaoyan serves as a Data Scientist at Michigan State University, focusing on Heterogeneous Graph Neural Network models for single-cell sequencing data integration and leading a project that created a rapid and cost-effective deep learning model for contaminant detection in tap water. Previously, Xiaoyan held research positions at Futurewei Technologies, Inc., Indiana University Bloomington, Carnegie Mellon University, and China Agricultural University, where contributions included machine learning model design, environmental research, and experimental setup for various chemical processes. Xiaoyan holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. in Computing Mathematics, Science, and Engineering and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University, alongside master's degrees from Michigan State University and Carnegie Mellon University.
