Tyson M. Avery serves as Associate General Counsel and Director of Ethics & Compliance at Lucid Motors since 2023, overseeing the development of the global ethics and compliance department for the emerging luxury electric vehicle manufacturer. Previously, Avery held the position of SVP, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Starbucks from 2019 to 2023, where responsibilities included enhancing global compliance and data privacy initiatives for the major coffee retailer. Prior experience also includes serving as SVP, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and Global Director of Internal Audit at CBRE, where Avery advanced the ethics and compliance framework for the largest publicly traded commercial real estate services firm. Earlier roles include Director of Ethics and Compliance at ITT and serving as an Officer and Judge Advocate in the US Marine Corps, where tasks included acting as Ethics Counsel for the President of the United States. Tyson M. Avery earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside.
