O'Neil Pinto has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. O'Neil began their career at Siemens as an Executive in the Switchgear Division from July 1992 to May 1993. O'Neil then joined the Godrej Group as a Sales Manager for Furniture & Interiors from June 1996 to September 2004.

In 2004, Pinto moved to 3M India Ltd., where they worked as a Manager in Marketing, Business Development, and Strategic Accounts from September 2004 to December 2010. Following this, they joined dormakaba as the General Manager & Business Lead for South East Asia from January 2011 to April 2017.

Pinto's most recent position was at The Lubrizol Corporation, where they held two roles. O'Neil served as the Business Director for South Asia, TempRite Engineered Polymers from May 2017 to January 2021. O'Neil then advanced to the role of Senior Business Director for EMEAI (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India) in the same division from January 2021 until the present.

O'Neil Pinto has completed an Executive Program in Marketing Management from SPJIMR. O'Neil also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt DMAIC.
