Ruth Moon Mari serves as an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University since August 2019, focusing on storytelling in research and journalism to promote understanding of diverse subjects. Prior to this role, Ruth worked as a Freelance Writer for Christianity Today and held various editorial positions, including Editor of Response at Seattle Pacific University. Ruth's extensive experience includes reporting on Native American affairs and general assignments for Lee Enterprises, as well as internships at notable organizations such as The Gazette and Pilot Media. Ruth possesses advanced degrees in Communication and Political Science from the University of Washington and Southern Illinois University, complemented by a Certificate in Journalism from the World Journalism Institute.
