Thijs Braem is a Senior Surveyor and Lead Assessor at LRQA since July 2022, specializing in quality management systems including ISO3834, PED, and various hEN standards. Additionally, Thijs serves as the owner of TecaB, providing freelance auditing, training, and inspection services as an International & European Welding Engineer. Prior experience includes a tenure at Lloyd's Register EMEA from September 2009 to July 2022, where Thijs held similar roles and responsibilities, and a position as QA/QC European Welding Engineer at Geldof from September 2002 to September 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in European Welding Engineering, multiple certifications in quality management and welding engineering, and a tank assessor designation from EEMUA.
