Heather Kavanagh, MA has a diverse work experience in event planning and management. Heather is currently the Director of Academic Events at Loyola University Maryland since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Sandtown Furniture Co. as a Customer Lead from June 2021 to February 2023. In addition, they served as an Event Planner from June 2021 to December 2022. Before that, Heather worked at Northrop Grumman in the role of Executive Events from July 2018 to 2020. Heather also has experience as the Director of Special Events at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from January 2010 to July 2018. Heather's earlier roles include being a Senior Corporate Events Producer at Constellation from May 2007 to December 2008, a Special Events Manager at Kennedy Krieger Institute from July 1999 to May 2007, and a Community Relations/Public Relations Assistant at Baltimore Orioles from 1996 to 1999.

Heather Kavanagh holds a Master of Arts degree in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore. Heather also completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications at Towson University.
