Lee Schmidt is a seasoned nursing academic and administrator with extensive experience in higher education and clinical settings. Currently serving as Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Interim Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs at Loyola University Chicago since July 2012, Lee has held significant positions at the University of Miami School of Nursing and the University of Miami from August 2001 to July 2006 as an Assistant Professor. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Tampa General Hospital from August 1984 to August 2001, where Lee was Director of Nursing Operations, Nurse Recruiter, Nurse Manager, and Staff Nurse. Lee Schmidt earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing from the University of Miami and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Administration from the University of Tampa.
