Antonio Ortiz is the president of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago. Mr. Ortiz first joined Cristo Rey High in 2000 as director of foundation and development relations, then became associate principal in 2004. He earned a master of business administration degree from Loyola University Chicago. He also served as director of partnerships and outreach at the Big Shoulders Fund from 2010-2012.
Mr. Ortiz received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in public policy. He then completed a teaching and service fellowship through the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) where he earned a master of education degree.
He serves or has served on the boards at Dominican University, Roosevelt University, The Resurrection Project and St. Ann Catholic School. He is also a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and was selected in 2010 to participate as a fellow with Leadership Greater Chicago.
