Kathryn Turrentine is an educator at Lowell Observatory since December 2019, with previous experience as a teaching assistant and research assistant at Northern Arizona University. During the tenure as a teaching assistant, Kathryn contributed to the Introduction to Observational Astronomy class and lab, facilitating learning for large groups of students and supporting instructors. Kathryn also worked as an undergraduate research assistant, developing a catalog of near-Earth objects in the Department of Astronomy and Planetary Science. Kathryn earned a degree in Physics and Astrophysics from Northern Arizona University in December 2021.
