Ben Shafransky is a skilled Telescope Operator at Lowell Observatory, responsible for operating the 4.3m Telescope since January 2021. Prior to this role, Ben served as a Physics and Astronomy Instructor at Guided Discoveries from January 2019 to June 2020 and gained valuable experience as a Hospital Corpsman with the US Navy from June 2013 to June 2017. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a concentration in Astrophysics from the University of Toledo, completed from 2014 to 2018.
