Cecelia (Cece) Lynch serves as Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nurse Executive at Lowell General. She is responsible for all nursing and patient care services for Lowell General Hospital. Ms. Lynch is charged with the development of nursing services and the evaluation and implementation of clinical programs and services in collaboration with the medical staff and management team. Her role focuses on the continued development of nursing practices and the professional development of staff and the nursing leadership team. She is also responsible for proactively identifying progressive, creative, and viable approaches to delivering patient care, enhancing patient satisfaction, and strengthening the nursing culture at Lowell General Hospital.
Ms. Lynch brings over two decades of healthcare and nursing experience to her role. She comes to Lowell General from Ellis Medicine in Schenectady, New York where she served as Vice President of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) since 2008. As Vice President of Nursing and CNO, Ms. Lynch provided leadership for all nursing care delivery and standards for the 455 licensed bed facility with 3,400 employees and four campuses. Prior to her work at Ellis, she served in the following roles: nurse manager of emergency services at South County Hospital in Wakefield, Rhode Island; director of the customer service at Northwest Community Nursing and Health Service in Harmony, Rhode Island; and various nursing leadership roles at The Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
