Afonso Moreira is an experienced data professional currently serving as the Head of Data at Lovys since May 2023. Previously, Afonso held the position of Head of Data Intelligence at TOUS Jewelry from October 2021 to April 2023, where Afonso successfully migrated the on-prem data warehouse to the cloud and implemented a new Business Intelligence tool, minimizing manual data processes. Afonso's extensive tenure at Parfois from September 2010 to September 2021 included roles as Head of Data Analytics, Business Intelligence Coordinator, Business Controller, and Logistics Junior Project Manager, focusing on the design and implementation of Business Intelligence tools, optimizing supply chain management, and enhancing algorithms for forecasting and distribution strategies. Afonso began a career in logistics at Geo Vision in early 2010 and holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and another Master's degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
