Marisa Opie's work experience begins in 2011 as a Supervisor/Coach for Field Hockey and Soccer Camps at Brother Rice High School. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Strategic Sourcing Intern at Abrasive Brokers & Tool Supply. In 2015, they were a Sales Agent at Beacon Payments. Starting in 2016, they became a Sales Development Representative at Oracle. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as an Account Executive at Lovepop, helping customers build and strengthen personal relationships through cards. Marisa then progressed to become a Business Development Manager, responsible for lead outreach strategy and post-sale logistics. In 2021, they were promoted to Senior Manager, Corporate Sales at Lovepop, and in 2022, they became the Director of Sales.

Marisa Opie obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from Indiana University Bloomington in the years 2011 to 2015.
