Francisco Joubert Bernard is a skilled bassoonist with extensive experience in both performance and education. Currently serving as a Lecturer in Bassoon at the University of Louisville since 2023, Francisco also holds the position of 2nd Bassoon with the Louisville Orchestra since July 2019. Previously, Francisco was a Bassoon Fellow at the New World Symphony from August 2017 to May 2019. Academic credentials include a Master of Music in Music Performance from Yale University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the Conservatorio de Música de Puerto Rico (2011-2015).
