William Potter is an experienced professional in journalism and audit services, currently serving as a Staff Auditor for the Louisiana Legislative Auditor since November 2023, focusing on performance audits of state programs. Prior to this role, William held various reporting positions at The Daily Advertiser from July 2019 to December 2023, including Education Reporter and Growth and Development Reporter. Additionally, William contributed to academics as an Adjunct Instructor at Northwestern State University, teaching Introduction to Sports Communication. Previous experience includes roles as a Writing Coach and Graduate Assistant at American University, and various editorial positions at The Daily Reveille, culminating in the role of Editor in Chief.
