Christelle Capdupuy

Chief Sustainability Officer at Louis Vuitton

Christelle Capdupuy has extensive work experience in various roles focused on sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.

Starting in 2000, Capdupuy worked as a Portfolio Manager B to B at Unilever for two years. Christelle then became a Marketing Director from 2003 to 2005 and later a Global Account Director from 2006 to 2007 at the same company.

From 2008 to 2011, Capdupuy joined Parex Ltd as an International Corporate Social Responsibility Project Manager. Christelle then took on the role of Marketing Director & Sustainable Development Manager, where they managed new product development, defined business plans, and implemented Sustainable Development policies.

Capdupuy joined Bouygues Immobilier in 2012 as a Sustainable Development Director. In this role, they oversaw the development of sustainable approaches in urban planning projects and integrated sustainable development into innovative business models. Christelle also managed COP21 commitments.

In 2017, Capdupuy joined VINCI as a Sustainable Development Director before moving to Louis Vuitton in October 2018 to serve as their Chief Sustainability Officer.

Additionally, Capdupuy has been an active member of the Collège des Directeurs du Développement Durable (C3D) since 2012.

Christelle Capdupuy's education history includes multiple degrees and fields of study. Christelle obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier in 1996. In the same year, they also completed a Master's degree in Materials Chemistry from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the UK. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics at Université de Bordeaux from 1996 to 1997. Later, in 2010 to 2011, they attended Ecole Centrale de Paris / ESCP Europe, where they obtained a Master's degree in Sustainable Development. Lastly, in 2015 to 2016, they enrolled in the Executive Program of Management at Solvay Business School.
