Mihail Mihov has had a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Mihail began their career as a Navigational Officer at "K"LINE, where they were responsible for ensuring the safety of the ship and overseeing cargo operations. After six years, they joined Cargill as a Vessel Operator for the supramax fleet, where they managed vessel operations and maintained customer relationships. Mihail then transitioned to the handy fleet as a Vessel Operator before moving on to Louis Dreyfus Company in 2018. At Louis Dreyfus, Mihail held the role of Senior Freight Operator and later became a Team Lead responsible for Cape Operations.

Mihail Mihov holds a Master's Degree in International Maritime Business from Solent University, which they obtained in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Marine Sciences and navigation from the Technical University of Varna from 2001 to 2006. Before attending university, Mihail Mihov attended High Nautical School Varna from 1997 to 2001. Mihail also holds additional certifications, including the IELTS Academic certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment, obtained in 2016.
