Stuart Gillies is an experienced professional in engineering administration and fleet management, currently serving as the Senior Depot Engineering Administrator at Lothian Buses since August 2023. Prior to this role, Stuart spent nearly 24 years at McGill's Scotland East, where responsibilities included overseeing the inspection and servicing program for a fleet of 400 vehicles, managing engineering databases, and compiling statistical reports for senior management and First Group. Earlier, Stuart held positions as Technical Administrator at James Scott Electrical, Branch Manager at The Gold Centre, and Management Trainee at Dolcis Shoes, gaining comprehensive management and administrative skills throughout a diverse career since completing education at Newbattle High School in 1978.
